Doll Clothes for American Girl ^®

Our two Colonial girls are wearing very special print dresses! Elizabeth on the left is wearing a coral pink dress with ruffled eyelet lace cuffs on her elbow length sleeves. Her full length skirt is gathered from the waistline that forms a point in the center (very fashionable!). The lined bodice is accented with braid at the scooped neckline - the braid is echoed on her sleeves too. The back closes with velcro. A sheer white hairbow is included; dress made in the USA. The best part is that there is a matching dress for girls too - Wonderful!

Felicity on the right is modeling a blue striped colonial dress that is also printed with tiny posies! Her scooped neck and her elbow length sleeves are trimmed in ruffled blue lace topped with tiny pink rosebud braid. The bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro. Her gathered long skirt is quite full; dress made in the USA. Felicity is also wearing her red wool cape - it has an attached hood and ties under her chin with a satin ribbon. Just the thing for cool spring days!

Felicity looks pretty as a picture in her coral pink dress with it's floral print pinafore! The cotton dress has elbow length sleeves trimmed with a white ruffle and a pink rose. The pinafore ties in the back in a pretty bow. The dress closes with velcro and comes with a pink hair ribbon and a rosebud! A replica of the Felicity Birthday Party dress, this one is made in the USA.
To add to the outfit's charm, add the plain white patent shoes and her pretty white fan!

Elizabeth looks so grown-up and pretty in her blue print gown with purse and cap! The cotton dress is two pieces - a full print skirt that fastens around her waist with velcro and a top with panier skirt and elbow length sleeves trimmed with a white ruffle. Notice the navy bows on her bodice and all the navy braid trim - very stylish. The dress closes with velcro in back. The white and blue drawstring bag and her white cap are included ! Imported.

Josefina is dressed for spring in her pretty blue and white floral dress! The empire waist design is quite stylish and very flattering with the gently flared skirt and navy braid trim at the hemline. The short sleeves have two tiny tucks. The self waistband is accented by a blue ribbon and rosebud. The bodice closes in back with velcro; imported. Very fetching!

Complete Josefina's outfit by adding white slip-on shoes with satin bows. Now she can play with her three puppies, Cocoa, Ginger and Honey . . . how did Cocoa get up on the bench?!

Here's an adorable Pioneer lilac print calico dress with lilac checked sunbonnet - perfect for Kirsten or any other 18" doll on the frontier! The skirt is full with a "growing tuck" at the hem (of course); the dropped shoulders end in long full sleeves. The lined bodice is accented by the attached self belt. The back closes with velcro. The sunbonnet is fully lined and big enough to do it's job of protecting her face from the hot sun! It ties under the chin with grograin ribbon; outfit made in the USA. Wonderful!
Perhaps she also needs a pair of ankle length white muslin pantaloons trimmed with eyelet or a new pair of tie ankle boots? We have them here!

Kirsten and other 18 inch dolls need to dress for the winter in outfits like this one! First she has a white long sleeved blouse (with lace edging and a "brooch") and a warm patterned vest in gold and black. It has lacing in the front but actually closes in back with velcro. Her full black skirt is wool in soft pleats - perfect to ward off winter breezes. The gold and black border at the hem is especially good looking.
To complete this winter ensemble we're adding gold and white braid for her hair . . . you can add the black lace-up boots to keep her toes warm. She's all set!

This is a wonderful 1800's ensemble for your 18 inch doll that includes two complete looks! Kirsten on the right is wearing the muted floral dress with a contrasting brown checked sunbonnet tied under her chin. The dress has a sweet collar edged in white tatting; the long sleeves end in cuffs trimmed with the same tatting. Her dress closes in back with velcro.
Our doll model, Addy, is wearing the same dress but she added a tan pinafore that has contrast embroidery on the bodice and buttons in front (they hide the velcro underneath). A charming imported three piece ensemble!

This print dress is perfect for Addy and for Kirsten - it's a style both would like! The dress has black ribbon accents, shoulder ruffles, long sleeves and a full skirt edged in white lace. Addy feels like Spring dressed in this pretty peach and gold striped dress! Other 18 inch dolls will like it too - especially with the pretty ruffles around the full skirt in gold checks . . . her collar, waistband and sleeve cuffs are in gold checks too. The turquoise binding on the sleeves is a fun accent and matches her turquoise hair ribbon! The dress closes in back with velcro.
We added white pantaloons with eyelet lace trim, white knee socks and white prairie boots to complete her ensemble - and you can too!

She's ready for School in her special retired dress by American Girl! According to the story, this is the one made for Addy from three different fabrics that coordinate beautifully. The dress is primarily rust stripes with gingham accents including ruffles on the skirt and long sleeves.
The dress comes boxed with a green hair ribbon. We added the white kneesocks and the brown boots . . . you can too. The puppy dogs joined in just for fun!

Samantha is wearing a new dress in honor of Nellie's birthday on October 14th! (The Teddy Bear is Fritz - a surprise for Nellie.) Samantha's dark red plaid dress is perfect with the pleats in front and back. The white and navy cuffs on the long puffed sleeves match her collar; a navy grograin belt accents the lowered waist. Samantha went to a special tea with Grandmary to gather toys; she wore this stylish rust couduroy dress with matching hat to make a good impression on everyone. Her dress has a solid rust bodice with two buttons down the center. the long full sleeves end in striped cuffs that match her full skirt. The imported dress closes in back with velcro. It comes with the fun hat that mixes the stripes and solids plus adds a coordinating flowers for a bit of spice. She's wearing ivory tights and black shoes to complete her outfit. Notice the sock monkey and the mittens with animals inside that were donated for Settlement House gifts!

On the left is Nellie dressed to match her cookies in a gingerbread print dress topped by a coordinating pinafore! It's time to fill stockings . . . but what does our Nellie doll model find, but our Samantha still in her undies! On the left, Nellie is wearing a replica black and white plaid party dress. The white yoke has tiny tucks and is outlined in red velvet; The long white sleeves end with eyelet edged cuffs. Her skirt is pleated and topped with a red velvet belt that ends in a tailored bow in back. To make it truly festive, it comes with a matching red velvet hairbow! We added the white tights and the black slip-on shoes; Nellie brought the mitten gifts that come with a penguin (not shown), a bear or a dog inside!

Samantha is on the left in her pretty white pantaloons with tucks and the matching chemise top . . . looks like she is trying to hide presents from Nellie! (Guess that's why she's still not dressed.) Our two Victorian friends are having fun as they get ready for a party! Nellie on the right is very excited about her black "velvet" party dress with lots of white lace trim on the full skirt, long sleeves and the low waisted bodice. The lace on the bodice makes loops for her white taffeta sash . . . Samantha is admiring the big bow in back! The matching hair bow is included. Her bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro. Spring dresses for our two Victorian friends are just lovely - and perfect for Valentine's Day! Samantha on the right is wearing a replica imported print dress. The white dress has scattered pink rosebuds; pink is repeated with piping on her low waisted belt, collar and bodice insert. Her dress closes in back with velcro. The pale pink satin hair bow is included. Add her pink tights and white shoes and she's ready for a Spring party.

Nellie on the left is ready too in an adorable pink cotton dress with a big collar and lots of white lace trim. Notice the long sleeves with cuffs that close with velcro. The low-waisted bodice closes in back with velcro also; Nellie's replica dress is imported. The pink hair bow with a heart on the knot is included. We added white "lace" tights and pink shoes to complete Nellie's outfit and you can too.

Your 18 inch doll will be toasty this winter just like Kit! She's modeling a gray wool coat that features double breasted buttons and a buckled belt. Her red knit beret and her black knit mittens are included too. You can add her white fur trimmed boots and kneesocks to complete her outfit. Coat set is imported.

18 inch dolls (and especially our cute Kit) will look adorable dressed like the 30's Child Star, Shirley Temple! This dress is based on the costume Shirley wore in the film "Stand Up and Cheer" - red dots on white cotton, a two tiered full skirt with red satin ribbon trim, little puffed sleeves, and a high waist tied with a big red bow! And of course there's a big red bow for her hair. The bodice is lined and closes in back with velcro; dress is made in USA. Remember to add her real tap shoes in white or black so she can dance!

It must be Autumn - time to think about school and . . . Emily's birthday on September 30th! Our doll model Molly, on the left, is wearing a new imported school outfit that will double as a Party outfit. Her logen green skirt is velveteen and topped by a coordinating dusky rose sweater set. The cardigan is trimmed with floral sprays that include logen green leaves. Underneath is a sleeveless shell that matches her knit cap. Her black t-strap shoes and white kneesocks are perfect touches - Molly looks adorable and so does her dog! (They come in Cocoa, Honey and Ginger shades)

On the right is Emily holding some of her gifts! Her new imported dress is a heavy cotton with muted stripes in reds and burgundys. Her longer skirt is very stylish and accented with a tuck and a self bow in the center. A matching belt at the waist draws attention to the unpressed pleated skirt and the white buttons down the center bodice. Underneath is an attached crinoline petticoat; we added th white tights with black t-strap shoes. Emily feels quite grown-up!

These two friends are together for a treat . . . maybe the movies! Emily on the left loves her new dress with the red dots on the bodice and the full blue skirt (in fact, it's just like the one Linda wore in "Brave Emily"!) Molly is going up in a plane with her Aunt . . . and is she excited! Unfortunately, Emily isn't as sure - (but she's being a good sport). Molly is wearing the retired American Girl World War II Pilot outfit complete with "bomber" jacket, kakai pants, pilot helmet and the perfect white scarf to wave in the breeze! (She finished her outfit with riding boots from Jill)

To keep herself busy, Emily brought along some homework in her red book bag . . but she's not sure she will be able to concentrate. She was glad she had this navy dress covered in stars to wear . . . she loves the ruffles, the full skirt and the buttons down the front! (Actually, the dress closes with velcro under the buttons) The dress has a matching shoulder bag but Emily forgot it in her excitement - along with her new red T-strap shoes so she settled for her white ones!

Her doll will be ready for showers in this delightful set! The shiny yellow raincoat has both a matching hat and a shoulder bag. The lined coat closes in front with velcro underneath pretty white floral buttons. She looks great with her red umbrella (it can really open and close). . . and the red rainboots with side zippers too. What a perfect way to meet the rain!

It's time to keep warm and do we have some great picks for your dolls! Our doll model Nellie, on the far right, looks just adorable in her new pink coat and hat set - both trimmed with black velvet bows. Notice the wide cape detail and the black velvet-covered buttons. Sitting in the center is own jointed Engel doll wearing a classic tan trench coat. It's double breasted (with velcro underneath) and belted. The sleeve cuffs show off the pink print coururoy lining that will keep her warm. We added her fuschia hat and mittens plus the hot pink loafers. Too cute!

On the left is the stunning white "fur" coat and hat that most dolls and girls just love! The flared coat is fully lined with white satin; it closes with velcro under the special "silver" buttons. Her "fur" beret is included and so is a muff (not shown); imported set. We added her "lace" tights and the lilac "suede" boots for extra pizazz!

Looks like these two friends just saw The Nutcraker Ballet and have little ballerina bears as favors! They wore their best holiday dresses for this fun outing. . . our Marisol doll model, on the left, has a new dress that combines green velvet and a Christmas plaid with an elegant result. The velvet bodice has a scoop neckline and puffed sleeves with gold braid accents. The full plaid skirt has gold threads and an attached red petticoat underneath. Marisol thinks the sash is truly wonderful with the bow and plaid flower!
She added red tights and gold mary janes - you can too. Coordinating hairbow included.

Lindsey wore an elegant light blue velvet dress with bodice embroidery of snowmen - it was perfect for Chanukah and perfect for the ballet too! Her dress has a white "fur" collar and cuffs that Linsey thinks is very special. Notice her full skirt of three tiers (perfect for twirling at intermission!). Her Star of David necklace is an ideal addition.

We're so pleased to have found these pretty knit sweater and hat sets - perfect for American Girl or Magic Attic Dolls! The sweaters open and close at the neckline with a tiny pearl button at each side - leaving ample room for your doll's head (without messing up her hairdo). The hat stretches around her head so you can position it as you wish - notice the cute pom-pom on top. White is the only choice now ( Light Blue and Pink no longer available.) Just lovely!

This lovely organza, taffeta and lace confection is perfect for her 18 inch doll to commemorate her First Communion! The dress is made in the USA of white organza over white taffeta. The sheer bell sleeves and the lined bodice are trimmed with white lace. The full organza topskirt is finished with a tuck and a border of wide white lace. She's pretty as a picture in this lovely white First Communion outfit! The imported dress has a full sheer skirt with a sheer lace border. Her puffed sleeves are accented with a lace trim that also edges the scoop neckline. The dress back features a satin bow and closes with velcro. Underneath is an attached sheer slip. Her veil is especially lovely . . . two tiers and edged with lace! It's attached to a covered headband trimmed with dainty lace flowers.

Our girls are going to be in a wedding! Which lovely dress should the bride choose for them to wear? Both will be wonderful party dresses afterwards . . .
Mia on the left loves the long dress she's modeling with two layers of pink tulle on the full skirt. The sleeveless bodice and matching lined bolero jacket are the same light pink satin as the underskirt (and the edging on the tulle). The dress is imported and closes in back with velcro.

On the right our Nicki is modeling a pink lace confection with pink velvet ribbon trim on the midriff and on the full skirt. The scooped neck and armholes are bound in the same pink satin that makes up the attached sleeveles slip. The ballet length skirt is perfect over the attached crinoline petticoat. This imported dress closes in back with snaps.

Whichever dress is selected, the bride has decided they will carry a pink rose and wear a pink rose in their hair. Now for the shoes . . . should they wear the pretty pink flats or the gold mary janes? You can decide and add a pair for your doll!
